The month of October saw a series of programmes in the historical Liberation Museum at Suhrawardi Udyan including a month long movie screening. Among the movies include ‘Lal Shobujer Sur’, ‘Rina Brown’, ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’, ‘Ekattorer Nishan’, Ekattorer Jishu’, ‘Guerrilla’, and ‘Ekattorer Guerrilla’.
A total of 7166 visitors including adults and children visited the museum. The total turnover from ticket sale stood at 1,42,020 taka.
Among the honourable guests who visited the museum were a 19 member delegate led by wing commander Rajat from Indian High Commission and a delegate of 20 led by wing commander Arif of Bangladesh Army. There were school children who visited the museum, among them were 22 students from Ranit International School at Azimpur, 49 students from Queens School and College of Adabar, and 150 students from Bottomly Home Girls’ School, Tejkunipara.
